The kitchen staff at Ferrars Infants are committed to providing a well balanced healthy meal for the children.
We are a ‘Healthy School’ and achieved Healthy School Status 2 years ago.
Our menus are set by Luton Borough Council, and each dish is nutritionally analyzed to make sure each day menu is as healthy as can be. We currently serve a meat choice and a vegetarian choice daily.
A typical day’s menu would be:
Ø Spaghetti Bolognaise
Ø Cheese and Broccoli Flan with potato wedges
Ø Sweetcorn / Salad
Ø Ginger Sponge with Vanilla Sauce
Ø Fresh Fruit Salad
Ø Fresh fruit, fresh bread, yoghurts and fresh drinking water are available daily
We try to encourage the children to have as much salad and veg as they want.
